Business Development Associate
Responsibilities:
- Engage in extensive market research to ensure the viability and profitability of the assigned market
- Identifying target hotel partners, sales partners, key selling proposition, product requirements, and competitors for an identified market
- Projecting and monitoring revenues for the assigned market
- Supporting Sales Force with prospect lists, and culling information from the sales force on market specific product enhancements
- Identify the compelling reasons of the target market to purchase by consistently monitoring and evaluating our products, services, and pricing against existing market conditions
- Review the cost for servicing a market, making sure that DirectWithHotels continue to remain profitable for any market it decided to enter, otherwise make a recommendation to move out of an unprofitable market
- Look at ways to eliminate, reduce, raise the factors that might diminish or add to the value of our services. Look at ways to create factors that an identified market has never seen and will find of value if DirectWithHotels would offer it to the assigned market
Required Qualifications:
- Must be open to change
- Must have strong analytical and communication skills
- Multi-lingual capability a plus but not required
- Must be data-centric and driven
- Interested to develop competency in designing SMART (Specific, Measurable, Actionable, Realistic, and Time-bound) objectives tied in with market profitability
- Interested to develop competency to formulate high level strategies as well as design implementation details
- Interested to collaborate with the different business units and support services in gaining clarity on expectations with regards to strategy formulation to execution of implementation plan
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance, Business Management or any equivalent course, other courses still open to apply
- At least 1 year experience in sales/marketing/business development/revenue management/operations. (internal application)
- At least 2 years experience in sales/marketing/business development/revenue management/operations. (external application)
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office application such as MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Visio
