William Valtos – Chairman of the Board
Billy has been active in the venture capital/direct investment industry for 19 years and is a founding partner of ICCP Venture Partners (IVPI), one of DirectWithHotels’ financial backers. Billy oversees IVPI’s Silicon Valley operations and also manages three global venture capital funds, with close involvement with each of his portfolio companies. At DirectWithHotels, Billy’s role is to guide and work with management to build a world-class, global brand.

Ernest Cuyegkeng – Director
Ernest is the Chief Financial Officer and Director of A. Soriano Corporation, an investment and holding company. Included in its portfolio of businesses is A. Soriano’s substantial interest in Amanpulo Resorts in the Philippines, a luxury beach resort run by the Aman Management Group. Ernest also overseas the various business interests of A. Soriano Corporation and is President of Phelps Dodge Philippines, a wire and cable company owned by both General Cable and A. Soriano Corporation. Aside from exposure to the hotel industry, Ernest brings to DirectWithHotels his extensive experience in general and financial management.

Riyaz Moorani - Director
Riyaz’s core expertise is in the development of e-business models, customer care and billing systems. From a history of senior management positions in regional telecommunications companies, Riyaz’s passion for the travel industry led him to establish his own highly successful online travel agency. At DirectWithHotels, Riyaz’s focus is on ensuring our systems remain dynamic and efficient and our service straightforward and personal.

Emiliano Zulberti – President & Chief Executive Officer
Prior to founding DirectWithHotels in 2005, Emiliano worked for strategy and IT consulting firms, guiding clients on how best to incorporate the Internet into their business. His unique brand of business architecture has previously benefited financial services, telecommunications and travel businesses including a prominent tour operator in Europe and one of the world’s most recognized hotel chain brands. Emiliano’s passion for traveling, and his frustration with the reservation experience offered by many accommodation providers, drove him to co-found DirectWithHotels.

Carlos Zulberti – Chief Planning Officer
Carlos has over 30 years experience of international, environmental and economic development consultancy. An extremely well traveled individual, his positions have ranged across North America, South America, Africa, and Asia encompassing work for the United Nations, academic institutions and national Governments. Carlos’s insight into growing and developing markets inspired him to co-found DirectWithHotels, along with son Emiliano.
